Anotācija

Oskars Stroks (1893, Daugavpils – 1975, Rīga) ir pazīstama personība 20. gadsimta populārās mūzikas kultūras vēsturē gan Latvijā, gan starptautiski. Viena no Stroka visu laku populārākajām tangodziesmām ir Melnās acis (1929). Šajā rakstā autors apkopojis informāciju par šobrīd zināmajiem četrdesmit četriem Stroka tango – gan solodziesmām (28), gan instrumentālajiem skaņdarbiem (16). Šie tango sacerēti laika posmā no 1927. gada līdz 70. gadu sākumam, tomēr lielākā daļa komponēti tieši 30. gados. Kādas ir Stroka tango dziesmu muzikālās stilistikas iezīmes žanra kontekstā? Par Stroka starpkaru perioda tangodziesmu (šlāgeru) muzikālās stilistikas stūrakmeņiem var uzskatīt argentīniešu tango-canción, krievu pilsētas romances un klezmeru muzicēšanas stilu. Dažādo muzikālo tradīciju sintēze un ietekmes veido Stroka starpkaru perioda tango īpašo  stilistisku unikalitāti un atpazīstamību mūsdienās.
